Cairo may just be starting up, but we’ve all been around this business for a while now, and we all know what a good team of interns can do for publication. We value their energy, their enthusiasm and their input. We work to develop internships that balance the needs of the magazine with the needs and interests of the individual.

Qualifications

Cairo asks a lot of its interns, and Cairo itself is a demanding city, both personally and professionally. We have found that while academia can teach a lot, getting the most out of a stint here is even more closely bound up with attitude and experience. So while you should by all means tout your degrees and your scholarships, also show how adaptable you are and that you have worked in stressful situations and under less than ideal conditions.
